Nathan and Rochelle Lygon brought Yandama On Country to life together with the aim of Nathan sharing his culture with people and Rochelle organising the business operations. Yandama On Country offers Indigenous cultural experiences where we connect, share, and learn On Country together.
Yandama means to "walk now" in the local Thaua and Djirranganj languages. Yandama On Country means "walking on country".
A passion for traveling, culture and good food has taken Nathan and Rochelle around Australia and overseas together, where they have participated in many tourism experiences. These adventures have helped inspire Nathan and Rochelle to create and deliver meaningful cultural experiences for their guests.
About Us
Yandama On Country invites you to see and experience country through an Indigenous lens.
Yandama On Country gives our deepest love and respect to the lands, waters, plants, animals and the old people who cared for this Country for many generations. We walk gently and in good spirit to honor the teachings of those who came before us. We are committed to caring for the earth for those who come after us.
