Nathan Lygon is a Yuin, Dharawal and Wolgalu man. Born and raised on Thaua country, in Pambula, on the Far South Coast of New South Wales. Nathan has a deep passion for indigenous culture and has spent much of his adulthood learning about his culture's customs, ceremonies and responsibilities.
Nathan is an active member of the local indigenous community. For the past 8 years and continuing, Nathan works as a cultural educator and consultant.
He has served as a director and is the current chairperson for Twofold Aboriginal Corporation.
Nathan is a lead member and songman of the Duurunu Miru dance group, a passionate member of Yanda Biratj language group (Eden Language Group) and Vice Chair of the Local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group.
Nathan is a very knowledgeable guide and has a deep connection to land, water, plants and animals. Nathan loves walking country with people and sharing his knowledge in a fun, meaningful and spontaneous way.
Rochelle Lygon grew up in Pambula Beach, on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, also known as the Sapphire Coast of Australia.
Rochelle completed her Diploma in Project Management and then her Diploma in Community Services and has spent 10 years working in the industry, successfully running a small business for over 5 years. She has completed other courses complementing the community services work she does.
Rochelle is passionate about helping people and giving back to community via volunteer projects. This has given her the opportunity to meet and work with some groovy people across different industries.
Rochelle is an avid traveller. She has spent a lot of time backpacking overseas and has traveled all over Australia. She has a strong passion for learning other people’s way of life.
Rochelle's own travel experience helps her deliver an unforgettable experience for guests of Yandama on Country.
